3 wheeler or rail rider without bent axles?

With standard cut slots and no axle bending allowed, can one create a 3 wheeler or a rail rider? Tilting the one axle in the slot possibly? Thanks.

 

Yes. After narrowing for the DFW, drill the steer axle at approximately a 5 degree positive cant and 1 or 2 degrees forward. Then create a slot over the drilled axle hole. Should give you about 5 to 6 inches of steer. Test on a blank first to check. If you have access to a Silver Bullet (not the pro of extreme), it will make the task much easier.

 

I have to use the provided slots for the axles.

 

Most likely you can fill them and redrill. We've used clear epoxy to fill and drill and even just used it to hold axles in when my son first entered scouts. Can't see why that's a problem, but check your rules.
